One campaign at a time
A welcome headline may combine deposit cash, spins and a later reward. Each element can have a different minimum deposit, start date, expiry and allowed games. Do not add the caps of several campaigns and present the total as one immediate benefit. Ontario and Alberta restrict public inducement advertising, so the official operator account is the correct place to read current eligible terms.
What a multiplier multiplies
For a C$20 bonus at 30×, bonus-only wagering requires C$600 in qualifying stakes. If the rule applies to both a C$20 deposit and a C$20 bonus, it requires C$1,200. This is turnover, not a second deposit or a prediction of loss. Game contribution can make the required stake total higher.
Other limits that matter
Look for maximum bet, free-spin winnings treatment, restricted games and time limits. A “no wagering” headline may still have eligibility, game or cashout rules. Bonus funds and real-money funds may be consumed in a fixed order; Play Alberta explains its own 50/50 balance model in a separate official guide.
Keep the comparison local
A promotion shown to an Ontario customer cannot be assumed to apply in Alberta. Read the exact province and legal operator in the campaign terms and keep a copy of the terms at the point of acceptance.
Calculate qualifying turnover
Illustration only. Turnover is total qualifying stakes, not a second deposit or predicted loss. Provincial promotion terms govern.
Questions, answered
What does 30× wagering mean?
It means qualifying stakes equal thirty times the amount specified by the offer, which may be bonus-only or deposit plus bonus.
Is a promotion available across Canada?
Check the province, operator and campaign terms. A promotion in one province does not automatically apply in another.
