Splash is a specific edition
Pragmatic Play describes a feature in which wilds collect money symbols that land with them. Three, four or five scatters award ten, fifteen or twenty free spins respectively. The title is Big Bass Splash, not Bigger Bass Splash or the original Big Bass Bonanza.
The similar names make a poor shortcut for comparing games. Start with the full title in the loading screen, then identify the scatter allocation and the modifier panel. A screenshot showing a fisherman is not enough to establish which rules produced it.
Read a collection as an event
Worked mechanics example
Consider a hypothetical spin with money-symbol values of 2×, 4× and 6×, collected once by a qualifying wild. The combined value is 12×; at C$0.50 per spin that is C$6 before any other applicable feature multiplier. Without the qualifying collection, do not book those visible fish as that payment.
This example deliberately assumes one collector and no other modifiers. It explains the difference between a visible value and an awarded value. More complicated screens need the precise active rules rather than an improvised multiplication.
The fourth wild is a milestone
Each fourth collected wild retriggers ten additional spins. The first, second and third retriggers bring 2×, 3× and 10× multipliers. Up to five modifiers can be applied before the feature, including changes to money symbols, wilds and spins.
A counter at three of four is not a promise that the next spin will complete it. In an illustrative feature with two spins remaining, both spins may finish without that fourth wild. Progress already displayed does not create an obligation for the game to award the next stage.
Keep allocation and results separate
The ten-spin starting allocation and ten-spin retrigger look similar on a counter but arise from different events. Record the starting scatter award first, then any added spins. This makes the feature understandable even when the remaining-spins display rises during play.
More allocated spins do not state the value of the final result. Similarly, a larger multiplier does not itself create a collection. The event must qualify under the active rules before the displayed multiplier has a payment to act on.
