Fire in the Hole 3: expanding rows and Lucky Wagon resets

The third Fire in the Hole starts with a smaller active mine and can open more rows through collapses. Its Lucky Wagon feature uses a reset counter rather than a fixed list of ordinary free spins.

Count the active rows

Collapsing Mine starts with three active rows across six reels and can grow to six rows. Winning combinations and specified features trigger collapses; paid symbols clear before replacements arrive.

As a reading exercise, six reels with three visible rows contain 18 positions. At six rows they contain 36. That doubles the number of visible positions, but it does not mean twice the chance of a win or twice the expected payment. The combination rules and symbol probabilities still matter.

Use the third game’s feature rules

In this edition an xBomb wild can clear neighbouring symbols and add its value to the next-collapse multiplier. xSplit acts on its own reel, doubles symbol values with listed exceptions, and subsequently becomes a regular symbol. These are exact-edition rules, not a licence to copy descriptions from earlier Fire in the Hole releases.

For example, a displayed 4× multiplier and an eligible 1.5×-stake win would imply 6× stake if that multiplier applies. At C$0.20, the arithmetic is C$1.20. This invented example demonstrates units; it is not a sample outcome or a frequency claim.

Lucky Wagon is a reset sequence

Three, four or five bonus symbols start Lucky Wagon with two, three or four rows open. The feature begins with three spins and a landed coin resets the count to three. Enhancers above a reel activate when a coin lands below them.

Worked mechanics example
Consider the counter path 3 → 2 → 3 → 2 → 1 → 0. The reset in that hypothetical sequence comes from a new coin; the countdowns represent spins without a reset. A three-spin counter therefore does not mean the feature always ends after exactly three spins.

A coin value is a multiple, not a currency label

Lucky Wagon coin values are expressed relative to the active stake. A 25× coin at C$0.20 represents C$5 before any applicable further feature effect. Reading the number 25 as C$25 would multiply the result incorrectly.

The reverse confusion is also possible: a result screen may already show a converted currency total. Do not multiply a converted total by the stake a second time. Read the denomination and the stage of the feature before adding values.

Configuration and Canadian scope

Nolimit City publishes 96.05% RTP for the displayed configuration. It is a theoretical return, not a personal refund percentage. The public LeoVegas Ontario catalogue lists this exact third title; that check does not establish an account-level RTP or access outside Ontario.

For a simpler contrast, Big Bass Splash adds fixed blocks of spins at collection milestones. Our RTP guide separates configuration from session results, and the province guide explains why one provincial catalogue is not a national offer.
