A cluster is a group, not a line
Five or more matching fruit symbols form a qualifying cluster in this cascading game. Paid symbols disappear and replacements fall into the grid. A replacement grid may then contain another win within the same round.
For a simple reading exercise, compare one connected group of six identical fruit with two separated groups of three. The total number of fruit is six in both pictures, but the group structure is different. Do not combine disconnected groups simply because their colours match. The paytable determines the award for the qualifying group.
The jar has two jobs
A jar acts as a wild and a scatter. It has its own multiplier, starting at 1×, which applies to a win the jar contributes to. Three or more jars trigger free games. Their position and contribution matter; merely seeing a multiplier somewhere on the screen does not multiply every unrelated payment.
Worked mechanics example
Imagine a C$1.20 cluster award that qualifies for one displayed 3× jar. The multiplied amount would be C$3.60. This hypothetical illustration isolates one contributing jar; it does not supply a rule for combining several jars or predict the next multiplier. Read that interaction in the active game rules.
Keep a running round total
Suppose a round pays C$0.80, then a later cascade pays C$1.40 and the sequence ends. The illustrative total is C$2.20. If the original stake was C$1, the net change from that round would be +C$1.20, rather than +C$2.20.
This distinction is especially helpful in a busy cascade animation: the screen can show a component, an accumulated win and an account balance at different times. A succession of animations is not a succession of new deposits. Check the completed round total before recording a result.
Rainbow feature and return settings
The random Rainbow feature introduces oversized fruit. Push Gaming lists high volatility and RTP variants of 96.83% and 94.25%. Those figures describe configurations, not the chance that a particular Rainbow animation will appear.
The 2.58-percentage-point difference between those RTP settings is meaningful when comparing like-for-like versions. It cannot tell you which of two short sessions will return more. A prominently displayed large win is a single outcome; it is not a substitute for the configured theoretical return.
Where this fits in the Canadian section
The public LeoVegas Ontario catalogue listed the original Jammin’ Jars on 21 September 2026. A provincial listing does not establish access in the rest of Canada or a particular account configuration.
For a different use of the same studio’s features, read Razor Shark. For symbols that can pay anywhere without forming an adjacent cluster, compare Sweet Bonanza. The RTP guide covers return settings separately from volatility.
Questions, answered
Are eight matching fruit anywhere sufficient?
Not merely because there are eight. Jammin’ Jars evaluates qualifying clusters.
Does a jar multiply every win on screen?
Its multiplier applies to a win the jar contributes to.
Is Jammin’ Jars 2 covered here?
No. This is the original edition; the sequel has a separate rule set.
