Sweet Bonanza: count anywhere wins and add the multiplier values

The original Sweet Bonanza uses symbol counts across the grid. Its feature combines tumble wins with multiplier symbols, so the order of counting and addition matters.

Count identical symbols across the screen

Pragmatic Play describes wins from at least eight matching symbols anywhere on the tumbling reels. They need not form an adjacent cluster or a conventional payline. Winning symbols clear before replacements arrive.

Picture four matching fruit on the left and four of the same kind on the right. They meet the count of eight even though they are separated. Four fruit of one kind and four of another do not become eight identical symbols. This simple distinction prevents a colourful screen from being mistaken for a qualifying count.

One stake can contain several tumbles

Assume an invented round first returns C$0.40 and a later tumble returns C$0.60 before the sequence ends. The subtotal is C$1. If the original stake was C$0.50, the net change before any applicable additional award is +C$0.50.

A cascade is another evaluation within the round, not automatically another paid stake. The subtotal and the final feature award may appear at different moments. Wait for the completed result before adding it to an account balance or describing a replay.

The feature adds multiplier values

Four to six scatters trigger ten free spins. During the feature, individual multiplier symbols range from 2× to 100×, and eligible values are added at the end of a tumble sequence.

Worked mechanics example
For a hypothetical qualifying C$1 subtotal with 2× and 5× multipliers, addition gives 7× and therefore C$7. Multiplying 2 by 5 would instead give C$10 and would use the wrong operation. The example assumes the stated eligible sequence, not a forecast that either multiplier will appear.

A multiplier is not an independent cash prize

A large printed value can be visually prominent while the qualifying tumble amount is small. The final amount depends on both. A 10× multiplier applied to C$0.20 is C$2; a 3× multiplier applied to C$1 is C$3. The smaller multiplier produces the larger amount in this invented comparison.

This is why comparing only screenshots of multiplier symbols is unhelpful. Record the stake, eligible subtotal and final award together. None of those observations identifies the theoretical RTP configuration.

Original edition and Ontario catalogue

The public LeoVegas Ontario slots page lists Sweet Bonanza separately from numbered and Super Scatter editions. That supports an exact-title Ontario catalogue observation, not access throughout Canada or an account-level setting.

The supplier overview does not establish one RTP for all Canadian operators. Check the installed help. Compare Jammin’ Jars for adjacent clusters and Gates of Olympus for another tumble feature. Our RTP guide explains return settings, and the province guide keeps local access separate.

Questions, answered

Must the eight matching symbols touch?

No. This original uses an anywhere-pays count.

Do 2× and 5× combine as 10×?

In the described eligible sequence they add to 7×.

Does this cover Sweet Bonanza 1000?

No. Numbered and Super Scatter editions have separate rules.
