The format
Play Alberta and OLG both describe live dealer games in their casino range. A live table has a dealer or presenter, a timed betting window and game-specific rules. It is different from a random-number slot; do not compare its RTP with a slot number as if the units were identical.
Read the table limit
Check the posted minimum and maximum for the exact table, side-bet terms and what happens if a stream disconnects. A video delay does not change the rule that bets must be accepted before the betting window closes.
Bonus eligibility
An operator can exclude live dealer play from a promotion or count it at a lower rate toward wagering. Check that campaign’s contribution table. Our product highlights do not imply that every game contributes to a bonus.
Location and age
The streaming game remains subject to the same provincial account rules as the rest of the casino. A live studio’s location or supplier licence does not extend an operator’s authorization across Canada.
Questions, answered
Do live games use the same RTP as slots?
No. Each live table has its own rules and outcome model. Read that table’s help rather than borrowing a slot figure.
Will live bets clear a slot bonus?
Only if the exact promotion says so; live games may be excluded or contribute at a different rate.
